Splice Machine Ranks #1 on ITEN Fast Ten List
March 7, 2013
Recently, the Information Technology Entrepreneur Network (ITEN), an initiative of Innovate St. Louis, a catalyst for the entrepreneurial ecosystem in St. Louis, released a list, called ITEN Fast Ten, which includes companies founded within the last two years that are showing “promise of becoming drivers of future economic development.” We’re proud to announce that Splice Machine topped their list!
You may be wondering, isn’t Splice Machine located in San Francisco? We actually have our corporate offices in California and operate a major R&D facility in St. Louis. As a long-time St. Louis resident, a graduate of Washington University, the co-founder of Splice Machine and the head of our offices here, it’s been great to see the rise of St. Louis as a desired location for startups and entrepreneurs.
Thanks to new funding opportunities, new coworking spaces, and support from the local government, St. Louis startups have never had more opportunities to grow into nationally recognized companies. Combine that with a lower cost of living than most other tech hotbeds, and the Midwest just might be one of the best places right now for Big Data developers and other software engineers.
We’re excited to be recognized for our potential economic development impact by the tech community here in St. Louis. If you’d like to join our team, either in St. Louis or San Francisco, please check out our careers page today.
