Harte Hanks Wins Ventana Research Technology Leadership Award

We’re proud to announce that Splice Machine customer, Harte Hanks, has won the Ventana Research Technology Leadership Award, in the Big Data category. Splice Machine, along with Cloudera, was recognized on behalf of its customer Harte Hanks, which powered its campaign management solution with Splice Machine’s Hadoop RDBMS running on Cloudera CDH.
As one of our first charter customers, Harte Hanks, a marketing services provider for top brands worldwide, has been putting the Splice Machine platform to the test over the past year for its campaign management application stack, which includes IBM Unica, IBM Cognos reporting, Ab Initio data integration and Trillium data cleansing software. As a result, the Company has seen a greater than 10x price/performance improvement compared to their existing Oracle RAC databases.
Presented annually, the Ventana Research Technology Leadership Awards identify business and IT leaders who are using technologies and best practices to provide the best possible outcomes in productivity, performance and support of an organization’s goals and objectives.
