Splice Machine CEO Monte Zweben to speak at DBTA Data Summit May 13

We are excited to announce that our CEO and co-founder Monte Zweben will be headed east to speak at the DBTA Data Summit on Tuesday, May 13th in New York! The event takes place from May 12-14 and will cover all of the key issues in the world of data management and analysis today, including Hadoop.

Monte will be a part of a real-world discussion on how Splice Machine has had success with charter customers in deploying Hadoop to power scalable, real-time applications. He will also discuss how RDBMS-on-Hadoop could replace existing relational databases and provide a horizontal scale-out solution.

Monte will be speaking in a joint presentation with Rob Fuller of Harte-Hanks on the topic of “Migrating Your Oracle Database to Hadoop” in session B102: Hadoop Success Stories From the Real World, from 12-12:45pm on Tuesday, May 13.
